The idea for Gummed Letters JNL came from an online auction of some foil-embossed gummed letters from the 1940s and 1950s. One particular set was of a sans serif face that hadn't been produced in decades, and Jeff Levine felt it was worthy of a digital treatment.

Guenter type got its name after Guenter Gnauck the calligrapher from Eastern Germany whose works brought an inspiration and initial incitement for the design. But in contradiction to the calligraphic nature of the inspiration source Guenter has a specific construction that is built solely with straight stems.
Like KvadratZ family Guenter belongs to so called 'in-one-touch' series.
The first version in one basic style was developed by Zakhar Yaschin in 2001. In 2009 the font was redesigned with addition of 3 new styles and released by ParaType as a family.

Guapa was first born from a personal experiment: transforming a geometric sans serif ' la Futura' into a charming postmodern deco design. It was applied in a poster specially designed for a typography exhibition called ‘Pimp the type’.
Later it became a well-suited typeface for the word: from titles for magazines to book & record covers and packaging. The family consists in one single weight, which is provided with Discretionary ligatures, Alternative characters, Swashes forms, Initials and some Stylistic Sets. The Ornaments Series will be designed in the future, as well as a Cyrillic update. Guapa is fancy, delicious & fresh!

The purpose of this project is to revival this eclesiastical written letter forms in bronze and taking them to digital format. I was inspired to this on my last trip to Mexico in September of 2012.

GRUND is a new fontographic adaption of a remarkable 1920s epigraphical find in the city of Leipsic. This old well-known European trade fair hotspot struggeled with a severe shortage of exhibition space around 1920. The solution was to dig deeper into the matter literally and 1924 the worlds first underground trade fair exhibition hall was established right under the citys central market square. After several changes of use during the past decades the sophisticated Art Deco entrance structure (architect: Otto Droge) was re-opened in December 2013 as a gateway to a new subway rail track. The original brass lettering of the UNTERGRUNDMESSHALLE MARKT has been retrieved and served as the inspiration for this new font.
An extreme headline font with six optical variants. Black 24 is loosely based on ITC Grouch (1970) by Tom Carnase. It has some 2000 hand-adjusted kerning pairs for TNT (thats Tight, Not Touching), a very popular type treatment from the seventies and eighties.
